• Caroline Simpson

  

  CTA, DipPFS – Director & Independent Financial Adviser

  Caroline joined the predecessor Firm of HSP in 2000, following 18 years at KPMG where she managed a team of Tax Advisers in the Small Business Department. Many of her former KPMG clients and colleagues still work with her today. In January 2004 Caroline became a Director and shareholder of HSP. Caroline has a wide range of clients, dealing with all aspects of investment and tax planning.

• Lauren Matthews

  

  DipPFS – Director & Independent Financial Adviser

  Lauren provides advice on all areas of financial planning. Having over 18 years’ experience within financial services she has worked for HSP Financial Planning since 2005, building strong relationships with clients and providing advice to a range of individuals, businesses and trusts.

• Ian Vernon

  

  DipPFS, DipFA – Director & Independent Financial Adviser

  Ian has over 16 years’ experience in financial services. Having worked for national and international companies providing regulated advice to businesses and individuals. Ian assists a wide range of clients advising on all aspects of pension planning and wider wealth management creating bespoke and effective financial planning solutions.

  Russell has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, having previously worked for a major life assurance company before joining HSP in 2012. He holds the Diploma in Financial Services and provides clients with financial advice across a wide range of products and services.

• Tracey Stanhope

  

  Office and Accounts Manager

  Tracey joined HSP in 2004, initially working for A J Brown & Partner - its former name - from 1988.  Her role within the company are Office and Accounts Manager which entails the day to day running of accounting administration, compliance returns and overseeing staff and office matters.

• Sam Pole

  

  CertPFS – Paraplanner & Compliance Assistant

  Sam joined HSP in 2014. Sam prides himself on a strong technical knowledge and understanding of investment, pension and protection planning. Taking a personalised approach to produce suitability reports that are clear and easy to understand. His ultimate aim is to achieve Chartered status.

• Sharon Dunkley

  

  Group Corporate Manager

  With over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services, working in both provider and client facing settings, Sharon joined HSP in 2022. Her role encompasses all things corporate, assisting employers in meeting their workplace pension duties, as well as providing guidance on employees benefits such as Protection and Health.

• Sue Hurd

  

  Senior Office Administrator

  With over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, Sue joined HSP in 2004, having worked for Mortgage brokers, Insurance Companies, and Financial Advisers. Sue manages the training of administration staff, along with all aspects of administration for Caroline Simpson (Director).

• Isla Crane

  

  Administrator

  Isla joined HSP in 2021. Having graduated with a first class degree in 2020. With an interest in finance she is now building her knowledge, with the aspiration of having additional qualifications in the future. Isla manages all aspects of administration for Lauren Matthews.

• Sarah Johnson

  

  Administrator

  Sarah has worked for HSP (Formerly A J Brown & Partners) for 33 years and manages the administration of group pensions and investment portfolios. Sarah’s experience and knowledge ensures clients receive the highest levels of service. Sarah also manages all aspects of administration for Russell Spiers (Independent Financial Adviser).

• Sarah Wilby

  

  Administration Assistant

  Sarah joined HSP in 2020. Having worked at KPMG for 10 years in Corporate Recovery/Restructuring Services before taking time to have a family. With a love of musical theatre, we feel Sarah will be a great addition to the team. Sarah also manages all aspects of administration for Ian Vernon (Director).

• Mia Robbins

  

  Administration Assistant

  Mia joined HSP in 2021 after completing her A Levels at Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College (WQE). Away from the office she enjoy participating in tennis league matches and being a coach at local club. Mia manages the general administration and reception duties with HSP.

• Amy Wright

  

  Trainee Administrator

  Amy will be joining HSP from January 2025.

• Sue Wells

  

  Reception & Clerical Assistant

  Sue has worked for HSP for over 20 years, and brings secretarial, clerical and audio typing skills to the business. Additionally Sue provides a warm welcome and hospitality to clients visiting us in Whetstone.
